The ECDL project for secondary schools focused on the distribution of ECDL in the target group of high school students and a change in the training of students in this area. The aim was to provide an internationally recognized ECDL (European Computer Driver) certificate to 600 students and to initiate a change in student training in computer skills. Thanks to good financial management, we managed to implement education and obtain a certificate for up to 765 students. The project started in March 2005 and was successfully completed in January 2008. We received very positive responses and great interest from students from the schools that worked with us on the project. One year after the end of the project, we conducted a survey among the students who participated in how they used the certificate. Most of them said that the certificate helped them in further studies at the university and in some cases even to get a job.
