The aim of the project is to develop a comprehensive platform that maps investments in public administration at the level of local authorities and compares them with the results achieved in specific areas of public policy.
The project focuses primarily on the management and maintenance of 2nd class roads, environmental quality and education.. The ambition is to identify a large number of specific indicators that will provide the general public with specialized reports focused on public administration and the degree of its effectiveness. The project "Effective Regions" was inspired by successful foreign initiatives and responds to the identified deficit, which we have in Slovakia, especially in the field of monitoring the financial resources spent in comparison with the effectiveness of the resulting solution in public administration. The project was implemented from April 2019 to July 2021 in all local governments (except the Bratislava self-governing region).
