Project of general development of working abilities of the inhabitants of the town of Tisovec and its surroundings

Improving the living situation of the inhabitants of the segregated Roma community.

In cooperation with the city of Tisovec, the project aimed at improving the living situation of the inhabitants of the segregated Roma community. A total of 100 participants took part in the project's activities, representing the following groups: Roma mothers with children, Roma youth, and the unemployed. The project successfully fulfilled its goals. The project involved 24 unemployed people. The activities implemented in the project directly helped up to 13 of them to get a job. The project was launched in January 2008 and completed in November 2008.
